Oh man… good weather leads to slacking, slacking leads to having to work extra hard further along the road, having to work extra hard further along the road leads to sleepless nights, sleepless nights lead to weird IRC convos.
At the moment I’m really not enjoying school. I am on the verge of missing a few deadlines, so I’m really putting some effort in my work now. Too bad that todays work consisted of finding trivial answers to trivial questions. I mean… the whole perceptual side of JPG-compression is somewhat interesting. From a computer science point of view, as well as from a photographer point of view and even as a psychologist to be. But when making exercises equals debugging a teacher’s Matlab code and doing the same trick over and over and over again, the fun kinda gets… less.
Ah well. At least I can use this as an excuse to stay up late and make weird blogposts right?

Yesterday was the time for partying in Amsterdam, something that was long due. You can only go that long without proper parties can’t you?
Michael organised a small barbecue in Amsterdam’s Oosterpark to start everything off. Leaving Eindhoven by train and going to that barbecue, were our only responsibilities. Finding a group of around 25 people barbecueing on a field where there are lots of groups of around 25 people barbecueing was tough, but worked out in the end. Having succeeded meant we did not have to do anything anymore, so we let the yummy goodnesses, shaped like beer, meat and other delights, roll in.
But all good things come to an end, only to be replaced by other good things. So after a small ice cream munching, our click headed off for the Bitterzoet to be at the latest boemklatsch party. At this party a mix EP by C-Code and Mike Mago would be released, which is downloadable @ www.bmkltschrcrds.com.
The party was great, sadly enough not that many pictures, because of the consumed amount of alcohol. Party was great though. Nice amount of people, nice vibe on the dancefloor and great music.
